Problems in the use of vacuum butterfly valves

Problems in the use of vacuum butterfly valves? We already know that vacuum butterfly valves have many advantages, such as compact structure, light weight, easy installation, etc., but there are many things, and there will be relatively shortcomings. The problems that exist in the use of vacuum butterfly valves also reflect this. Below, let's take a look at the specific problems, so that everyone can pay attention to them during use and reduce unnecessary troubles.

The main problems in the use of vacuum butterfly valves are as follows:

1. Since the multi-layer soft and hard laminated sealing ring is fixed on the valve plate, when the valve plate is normally open, the medium will form a positive erosion on its sealing surface. The soft sealing band in the metal sheet sandwich will directly affect the sealing performance after being washed.

2. Restricted by structural conditions, this structure is not suitable for valves with a diameter below DN200, because the overall structure of the valve plate is too thick and the flow resistance is large.

3. Due to the principle of the rubber-lined butterfly valve, the sealing between the sealing surface of the valve plate and the valve seat depends on the torque of the transmission device to press the valve plate against the valve seat. In the state of positive flow, the higher the medium pressure, the tighter the sealing extrusion. When the flow channel medium flows back, as the medium pressure increases, when the unit positive pressure between the valve plate and the valve seat is less than the medium pressure, the seal begins to leak.

The problems in the use of the vacuum butterfly valve are mainly in the above three aspects. However, we cannot completely reject the vacuum butterfly valve. It still has many advantages. With the development of technology, I believe that these problems can be solved, and the vacuum butterfly valve will become more and more perfect.
